We work with a deliberately limited number of clients at any one time. That is not a constraint — it is a choice. It allows us to be genuinely present in every engagement, to develop a thorough understanding of each client's business, and to deliver the kind of advisory that is only possible when the relationship is treated as a priority rather than a transaction.

Every engagement starts with a conversation

We offer an initial consultation at no charge. The purpose is simply to understand your situation — what you are working through, what you are trying to accomplish, and whether there is a genuine fit between what you need and what we do well.

We are candid in that conversation. If we are not the right resource for your situation, we will tell you — and where possible, point you in the right direction. We have no interest in engagements that are not genuinely useful to the people in them.

If there is a fit, we will propose an approach — the scope, the structure, and the most appropriate way to work together given your specific needs and timeline.

Structured around your needs, not ours

We work with clients in three ways, depending on what the situation calls for:

Focused Advisory

For clients with a specific question, decision, or challenge that warrants a focused advisory conversation or series of sessions. No ongoing commitment — simply targeted input when and where it is needed.

Ongoing Retainer

For clients who benefit from consistent access to an experienced advisor — someone who knows their business, tracks their progress, and is available when something important comes up. A retainer arrangement provides predictability for both parties: a defined monthly commitment that maintains continuity without the friction of scheduling and billing each conversation.

Many clients find this the most natural model once a working relationship is established. The value compounds over time as the advisor develops a deeper understanding of the business and its people.

Project Engagement

For defined mandates with a clear scope, objective, and timeline — a strategic planning process, a business assessment, a market entry project. Structured with agreed deliverables and a fixed fee determined before work begins.

Transparent, and reasonable

Our fees reflect the experience and seniority we bring to every engagement. Hourly advisory rates range from $150 to $250 depending on the nature of the work. Monthly retainer arrangements are available for clients who prefer ongoing access on a fixed, predictable basis.

Project fees are agreed in advance based on scope. We do not charge for the initial consultation, and we do not begin any paid engagement without a clear mutual understanding of what it involves and what it costs.
